Obverse description The complete Coat of Arms of Jamaica occupies the central field, featuring a quartered shield supported by a female Taino figure to the left and a male Taino figure to the right, each rendered in fine detail. A crocodile passant surmounts the helm above the shield, and a scroll at the base bears the national motto. The country name JAMAICA is inscribed in a curved legend at the upper rim, while the denomination TWENTY FIVE CENTS and the date appear along the lower and right periphery.
