| Obverse description | Right-facing truncated bust of Joan Martí i Alanis, Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra, depicted wearing a zucchetto and clerical collar in a restrained, dignified portrait style. The effigy is rendered in high relief and occupies the central field. A circular legend in Latin reads JOAN · D.M. BISBE · D'URGELL · I · PRINCEP · DE · LES · VALLS · D'ANDORRA, running from the lower left around the full periphery. A small cross ornament appears to the right of the portrait in the field, and the engraver's initials are visible at the bust truncation. |
