| 正面描述 | Printed in black letterpress on salmon-orange card stock, the obverse is divided into two zones: a large bold numeral '25' occupies the left portion, while the right carries a three-line inscription naming the issuing authority above a ruled separator, with the denomination 'Céntimos' in bold type below. The layout is strictly typographic with no vignette or ornamental border. |

Vall de Laguart is a small municipal enclave in the Alicante province of Valencia, and like hundreds of other Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, its local council issued emergency fractional currency when coins disappeared from circulation entirely — hoarded, melted, or simply absent. These consell municipal emergency issues of 1936–1937 were printed or hand-stamped in tiny quantities, often on whatever card stock was at hand, with no involvement from the Republican central authorities beyond tacit permission.
The Gari Monetary catalogue reference is incomplete for this issuer, which is itself telling — documentation for the smaller Valencian municipal series remains fragmentary, and genuine examples are difficult to authenticate against forgeries made contemporaneously by opportunists exploiting the same breakdown in monetary infrastructure.
