| Beschrijving voorzijde | Primitive letterpress printing on blue-green card stock, with the denomination text arranged in two lines across the centre of the otherwise plain face. The coarse texture of the card stock is visible throughout, with faint reddish fibres embedded in the paper. No vignette or decorative border is present, reflecting the improvised nature of this Civil War-era emergency issue. |

| Opmerkingen |
Seròs is a small municipality in Lleida, Catalonia, and like hundreds of other Spanish towns it issued its own fractional paper currency during the Civil War after the Republican government's decree of September 1936 effectively authorized local emergency money. The Consell Municipal — the revolutionary-era town council — produced these notes to compensate for the near-total disappearance of metallic coinage from circulation, hoarded or melted as the war deepened.
Two Turró numbers suggest two distinct varieties — likely differing in serial numbering, ink color, or handstamp. Both are rare: Seròs had a population of only a few thousand, and production runs for municipalities this size were typically tiny.
