| 备注 |
Serón is a small municipality in Almería province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns during the Civil War, its local council issued emergency fractional currency when Republican-zone commerce ground to a halt after coinage vanished from circulation in 1936. These consejo municipal issues were purely local instruments — valid only within the issuing town and backed by nothing more than local administrative authority. The Gari Monerris catalogue documents thousands of such emisiones locales, and Serón's 25 céntimos sits among the most obscure.
At 51 × 40 mm, this is among the smallest pieces of paper money produced in Spain.
