| Obverse description | The Catalan coat of arms appears at upper centre above a seated allegorical female figure resting against a cornucopia overflowing with fruit, with a cogwheel at her side and factory buildings with smoking chimneys in the background, evoking themes of labour and agricultural abundance. The vignette is rendered in a letterpress style typical of Catalan Civil War municipal emergency issues. Issuer name, denomination in Catalan, redemption clause, and legal tender inscription for the municipal territory frame the central design. |

| Reverse description | Printed entirely in green, the reverse is dominated by a diamond-shaped guilloche medallion at centre enclosing the numeral value "0'25" in large bold figures, itself set within a circular guilloche border. Elaborate acanthus-scroll and foliate ornamental vignettes fill all four corners, creating a dense decorative surround. The denomination "PESSETA" appears in a cartouche below the central medallion, with the issuer name split horizontally across the left and right margins and the serial number printed twice flanking the central device. |

Riudebitlles is a small village in the Alt Penedès comarca of Catalonia, and like hundreds of other Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, it issued its own fractional paper currency after the collapse of metallic coin circulation in 1936–37. The Republican government proved unable to supply adequate small change across the zone, so local councils, trade unions, and collectives filled the gap themselves — legally authorised under a decree of 24 June 1937, though many issues predated or ignored that framework entirely.
This note was printed at the Impremta Col·lectiva Benaiges in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, a press operating under worker collectivisation. Turró catalogues over 2,000 distinct municipal issues from the Republican zone; this is #2154.
