Obverse description Central device depicts two large Spanish galleons under full sail, rendered in high relief with finely detailed rigging, hulls, and billowing sails. The ships are shown in a dynamic three-quarter view, conveying a sense of maritime power and the Age of Discovery. The legend ESPAÑA arcs along the left field, and the date 1925 appears across the upper field. The engraver's signature ESPINÓS is incused along the lower exergue. The overall composition reflects the Art Deco aesthetic prevalent in Spanish coinage design of the 1920s.
