| Opmerkingen |
Orba is a small municipality in the Marina Alta comarca of Valencia, and like dozens of similarly sized towns during the Spanish Civil War, its local council issued emergency fractional paper when Republican-zone coins effectively disappeared from circulation after 1936. The Consejo Municipal series from this region tends to be poorly documented — print runs were small, record-keeping was chaotic, and most of these notes were redeemed or destroyed once the war ended. Survivors often show heavy use, reflecting genuine day-to-day commerce in a rural economy running on improvised scrip.
