The denomination '25 Cts.' appears in a separate ruled box at upper left alongside a serial number field at upper right, with a small circular device centrally placed between them. The issuing authority 'EL CONSEJO MUNICIPAL DE NULES' is set in large bold capitals across the centre, beneath which the promise-to-pay text and the denomination written out in large red script letters 'Veinticinco céntimos' appear, followed by the place and date of issue.
