| 备注 |
One of hundreds of emergency municipal issues produced across Republican-held Spain during the Civil War, when the hoarding of metal coinage created acute shortages for everyday transactions. Murcia province remained under Republican control throughout the conflict, and local authorities — down to individual municipalities — were authorized to print their own fractional paper to keep commerce moving. These small-denomination notes were issued on whatever paper stock was available and were never intended to outlast the war.
Survival rates vary wildly across municipal issues; some towns printed thousands, others dozens. Gari Mon remains the primary reference, and catalog numbers within the 983 range cover several Murcia fractional types.
