| 背面描述 | Upper left carries a small vignette of the four-bar Catalan coat of arms (Senyera), accompanied below by a vertical ornamental typographic device. The denomination and series designation are set in bold letterpress type at centre, the whole composition enclosed within a meander-pattern rectangular border consistent with Civil War-era local emergency note production. |

Ginestar d'Ebre is a small municipality in the Ribera d'Ebre comarca of Tarragona, and like hundreds of Catalan and Valencian towns during the Spanish Civil War, it issued its own fractional emergency currency when the Republic's small-change supply collapsed in 1936–37. The Generalitat eventually tried to rein in this proliferation of local scrip, but by 1937 thousands of distinct municipal issues were already in circulation across Republican-held territory.
Turró catalogues this as a single-denomination issue, suggesting the council produced no companion series — unusual even among small municipalities, most of which issued at least two or three values.
