| 备注 |
Chirivel is a small municipality in Almería province, and like hundreds of similarly sized Spanish towns, its municipal council began issuing emergency fractional currency — billetes de necesidad — after the Civil War disrupted normal coin circulation from 1936 onward. The Republican zone faced a severe shortage of small change almost immediately, and local authorities filled the gap however they could: hand-stamped paper, cardboard, even cloth. An official stamp was the standard authentication mechanism when proper security printing was simply not available.
Gari Mon#533-B suggests a second known variety for this denomination, implying at least minor typographic or stamp differences between issues.
