Comments

Castejón de Sos is a small municipality in the Aragonese Pyrenees, and like hundreds of similar localities across Republican Spain in 1937, it resorted to issuing its own fractional emergency currency when the central government could not supply sufficient small change. The C.A.M. in Barcelona handled an enormous volume of these municipal commissions simultaneously, which accounts for the family resemblance across many Catalan and Aragonese issues of the period.

Gari Mon catalogues this as 469-A, implying at least one variant exists within the type.
