| 备注 |
The Salesian Vocational Schools in Barcelona issued small-denomination scrip during the mid-1950s as internal currency for use within their educational and workshop facilities — a practice with deep roots in the Salesian pedagogical tradition of using quasi-commercial systems to teach boys practical economic skills. These notes were not emergency money or wartime substitutes; they were deliberately pedagogical instruments, circulating within the institution's internal economy of labor, merit, and exchange.
1954 is late for Spanish local scrip of this type. Most Catalan emergency and institutional paper had been suppressed or abandoned well before this date, making the continued use of privately printed scrip by a religious institution at this point administratively unusual.
