备注	Barbastro, a market town in Aragon, fell to Nationalist forces in late March 1938 after serving as a Republican stronghold for much of the war. This note belongs to the chaotic early period of the conflict when the breakdown of the peseta coinage supply — caused by hoarding and the flight of silver from circulation — forced hundreds of Spanish municipalities to issue their own fractional paper. Rieusset in Barcelona was among the most active commercial printers supplying these emergency issues, handling orders from local governments across Catalonia and Aragon simultaneously. The Gari Mon catalogue distinguishes a 232-A variant, suggesting at least one additional emission or printing difference exists within the type.
