| 备注 |
Antas is a small municipality in Almería province, and like hundreds of similarly sized towns across Republican Spain, its local council issued emergency small-change notes in 1937 to address the near-total disappearance of metal coinage from circulation. Hoarding and requisitioning had gutted the fractional currency supply, forcing municipalities — with no banking infrastructure and no formal authorization from the Republic's central authorities — to print their own.
The Gari Monturiol catalog documents well over a thousand such issues. Antas produced very few notes in total, and survival rates for these provincial Almería emissions are notably poor.
