| 背面描述 | Plain cardboard reverse bearing a faint violet ink stamp impression, partially legible, reading CONSEJO MUNICIPAL and ALFARA DEL PATRIARCA arranged in a circular pattern around a central stamped device, likely an official municipal seal or handstamp applied as a validation mark. The impression is weakly struck and off-centre, as is typical of hastily produced Civil War emergency issues. The remainder of the field is blank, showing the natural texture of the cardboard substrate. |

Alfara del Patriarca is a tiny municipality northwest of Valencia, and like hundreds of similarly small Spanish towns in 1937, it issued its own emergency fractional currency when Republican-zone coinage evaporated under wartime hoarding and disruption. Cardboard tokens of this type were produced locally, often by the town council or a cooperative, with minimal equipment. The Turró catalogue remains the primary reference for Valencia province emergency issues, and the Gari Mon numbering reflects the broader national survey of these wartime suplentes.
At 40 mm, this is unusually large for a 25 céntimos denomination — most cardboard issues of this value ran considerably smaller.
