Obverse description The Venezuelan national coat of arms is displayed prominently in the centre of the coin, featuring its three quartered shield with a sheaf of wheat, crossed swords and a white horse passant. The date is split flanking the shield, with the first two digits to the left and the last two to the right. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin letters. Below the shield, the large numeral 25 and the denomination CENTIMOS appear in the lower field, separated from the legend above by two small raised dots at either side.
