| Reverse description | Central medallion bearing the bold denomination numerals '25' in large figures, with the zero of '25' rendered as an open circle at centre, flanked by decorative arabesque scrollwork filling the inner field. Above the numerals, an Arabic inscription in Naskh script gives the denomination in Arabic, while the word CENTIMES appears in Latin letters below. The entire central motif is surrounded by a rich border of repeating floral and foliate ornamental devices, consistent with the decorative aesthetic of Moroccan Protectorate coinage. No central perforation is present, as this is the solid essai variant. |
