| 裏面の説明 | The large denomination numeral 25 dominates the central field, accompanied by a superscript 'C' denoting centimes. The legend CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE curves along the upper portion of the coin within a beaded inner border, while RUFISQUE is inscribed along the lower arc in capital letters. The entire design is framed by a double beaded border, giving the token a clean, typographic appearance typical of French colonial emergency issues. |

Rufisque, once the dominant commercial port of French Senegal and briefly more economically significant than Dakar, issued this token through its Chamber of Commerce during the post-WWI metal shortage that drove dozens of French colonial and metropolitan chambers to produce aluminum emergency coinage. The town's commercial importance had already begun its long decline by 1920, overtaken by Dakar's expanding infrastructure — making this issue a minor artifact of a city already losing its regional grip.
