| 备注 |
Compagnie P.G. 153 was one of the French prisoner-of-war camp internal currency schemes operated under German administration during the Second World War. These scrip notes circulated exclusively within a specific camp compound, enabling controlled canteen transactions while preventing prisoners from accumulating currency usable outside the wire. Each compagnie issued its own denominations, making the scrip worthless — by design — the moment a prisoner was transferred or repatriated.
Attribution is complicated. Camp numbers don't map cleanly onto surviving records, and "P.G. 153" remains difficult to tie to a specific Stalag or Oflag with certainty.
