| Obverse description | A caduceus occupies the central field, with the heads of its two entwined serpents flanking the denomination numeral at the top. The date 1918 is divided by the foot of the caduceus staff, with '19' to the left and '18' to the right. The circular legend around the periphery reads CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE DIJON, with the denomination 25 CENTIMES and the engraver's signature O. YENCESSE also inscribed. The overall design is rendered in a refined Art Nouveau style characteristic of Yencesse's medallic work. |
