| Obverse description | The left half of the note is dominated by a bold intaglio vignette of the heraldic lion of Arras rampant, clutching a standard, set within a circular guilloche surround with radiating lines. The right field carries an overall orange underprint of interlaced monogram 'AR' rosettes against which the denomination 'VINGT-CINQ CENTIMES' is printed in large dark blue letterpress. Spaces for the treasurer's and president's manuscript signatures appear below the denomination, with the serial number and printer's and designer's credits at the lower margin. |
