| 背面描述 | The denomination numeral 25 is displayed in large, bold incuse-style raised figures dominating the upper central field, with the word CENTAVOS inscribed in smaller capitals beneath. The date 2013 appears in the lower field below the denomination legend. A continuous beaded border encircles the entire reverse design, framing the stark, unadorned layout typical of Argentine fractional circulation coinage of this period. |

Argentina's 25 centavos coinage of this period traces back to the monetary restructuring that followed the catastrophic 2001–2002 peso collapse, when the convertibility regime ended and the country defaulted on roughly $100 billion in sovereign debt. The reconstituted coinage series was a practical necessity — peso-denominated coins had essentially vanished from circulation as Argentines hoarded anything of tangible metal value during the crisis years.
By 2013, persistent inflation was already eroding the 25 centavo's purchasing power to near irrelevance.
