Obverse description The national emblem of Oman occupies the central field, depicting two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid by a traditional Arabian sword (saif), all rendered in fine relief. The emblem is surrounded by a circular Arabic legend reading 'Qabus bin Sa'id Sultan of Oman,' distributed along the upper and lower periphery. A decorative dashed inner border frames the design, separating the legend from the reeded edge.
