Obverse description The national arms of the Sultanate of Oman are depicted centrally in the field, consisting of two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid with two crossed swords, rendered in fine relief. An Arabic legend arcs along the upper portion of the coin reading the ruler's name and title, with a further inscription at the lower portion identifying the state. The design is framed by a denticulated border running around the entire circumference.
