| 正面描述 | The large stylized numeral '25000' dominates the central field, rendered in an artistic interlocking design with the denomination legend 'tolarjev' inscribed beneath. Jurij Vega, born in 1754 in the Duchy of Carniola, produced logarithmic and trigonometric tables of such precision that they remained the international standard for navigation and artillery calculation well into the nineteenth century. Napoleon's artillery corps used them. So did the British Admiralty.
This issue coincided with Slovenia's entry into the European Union on 1 May 2004 — the country's last full year issuing commemorative tolar-denominated coinage before the euro transition rendered the series obsolete.
