| Obverse description | Central depiction of Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa of Vientiane), rendered in fine relief against a polished mirror field, with its distinctive tiered spire and surrounding smaller towers faithfully represented. The legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' curves along the upper arc in Latin characters, while 'Ag 925' appears vertically along the left side of the field.
