| Obverse description | Central depiction of Pha That Luang (the Great Stupa of Vientiane), rendered in fine relief against a polished mirror field, with its distinctive tiered spire and surrounding smaller towers faithfully represented. The legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' curves along the upper arc in Latin characters, while 'Ag 925' appears vertically along the left side of the field. The face value '25000 Kip' is inscribed in the lower field, with the date '2024' flanked by two dots directly below. A small mint mark of the Moscow Mint (ММД) appears to the right of the stupa. |

Laos has issued a steady stream of silver zodiac pieces since the early 2000s, most produced by foreign mints on contract — almost certainly European, given the composition and dimensions here. The domestic minting infrastructure of the Lao PDR has never been capable of producing struck silver to this specification.
