| Obverse description | Central field depicts a detailed relief of Pha That Luang, the great golden stupa of Vientiane, rendered in fine engraving against a polished dark background. The monument is shown in full frontal elevation with its characteristic tiered spires and surrounding cloister wall with gateway in the foreground. The legend 'BANK OF THE LAO PDR' curves along the upper portion of the field in bold Latin letters. To the lower left, the fineness mark 'Ag 925' is inscribed vertically, while the denomination '25000 Kip' and the date '2024' appear in the lower exergue. A small mint master's mark is visible to the right of the central motif. |
