| 正面描述 | The national coat of arms of the Republic of Armenia occupies the central field, depicting a heraldic eagle and lion flanking a quartered shield, rendered in high relief against a mirror-like proof field. The denomination '25000 ԴՐԱՄ' appears in two lines below the arms, followed by the date '1997' at the base. The Armenian legend 'ՀԱՅԱՍՏԱՆԻ ՀԱՆՐԱՊԵՏՈՒԹՅՈՒՆ' (Republic of Armenia) arcs around the upper periphery, with small star and ornamental stops framing the lower legend. |

| 背面描述 | A right-facing portrait bust of the Armenian goddess Anahit dominates the central field, modelled in the classical Hellenistic style with finely detailed wavy hair and serene facial features, inspired by ancient sculptural representations. The bust is set against a deeply mirrored proof background, lending a cameo-like contrast. The bilingual legend 'ԱՆԱՀԻՏ' in Armenian script arcs around the upper left periphery, and 'ANAHIT' in Latin script arcs along the lower periphery, both separated by a ring of small six-pointed stars. |

Issued in 1997 to mark the 2,500th anniversary of Armenian statehood, this coin commemorates Anahit, the principal goddess of the ancient Armenian pantheon — a deity of fertility and healing adopted from Iranian Anahita but developed into a distinctly Armenian cult figure. The temple at Eriza (modern Erzincan) housed a famous golden cult statue of her, reportedly looted by Mark Antony in 36 BC. Two catalog variants exist under this type, likely reflecting minor die differences between production batches rather than intentional design changes.
