| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik V, rendered in an elaborate calligraphic style with intertwining cursive strokes. The monogram is surmounted by a large royal crown with arched bands and prominent jewelled detail. A circular Latin legend runs along the coin's periphery within a beaded border, identifying the king and his titles. The shield is inclined slightly to the right in the Baroque heraldic tradition, with the date split to either side of the shield in the field. The denomination and mint designation appear in the surrounding circular Latin legend, separated by decorative stops, with the mintmaster's initials also incorporated into the legend. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
