| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the interlaced and mirrored royal cypher of King Frederik V, rendered in an elaborate calligraphic style with intertwining cursive strokes. The monogram is surmounted by a large royal crown with arched bands and prominent jewelled detail. A circular Latin legend runs along the coin's periphery within a beaded border, identifying the king and his titles. The overall composition is bold and occupies the majority of the flan, reflecting the decorative Baroque engraving style typical of mid-18th century Danish coinage. |
