Obverse description Full-length figure of a Wild Man (Wilder Mann), the heraldic symbol of Brunswick-Lüneburg, standing facing, wearing a crown of leaves and a loincloth of foliage, his right hand resting on his hip and his left hand grasping an uprooted pine tree staff. Two heraldic shields are displayed at his feet, each charged with fir trees. The denomination numeral 24 appears in the right field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the entire composition.
