Obverse description A nude wild man (Wilder Mann), the heraldic supporter of the House of Brunswick-Lüneburg, stands facing in the field, crowned with a wreath of foliage and girdled at the waist with leafy branches. He grasps an uprooted pine tree in his left hand, its roots visible at lower left, while his right hand rests at his side. The denomination numeral 24 appears to the right in the field.
