| Reverse description | Quartered shield of the Hohenlohe arms, surmounted by a princely crown, displayed in the center field within a beaded inner circle. The quarters display the characteristic heraldic devices of the Hohenlohe family, including lion and checky patterns. The surrounding Latin legend reads LANDENB ET GL followed by the date (1621 or 1622), distributed around the outer border. The entire composition is executed in the robust but irregular hammered style characteristic of German Kipper coinage of the early 1620s. |
