Obverse description The Bosnian national emblem is depicted at center, positioned above a detailed rendering of the Old Bridge (Stari Most) of Mostar. The country name REPUBLIKA BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA is inscribed in a circular legend along the upper periphery. The date 1993 appears in the exergue below the bridge, accompanied by the mintmark PM to its right.

Reverse description A detailed architectural view of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque (Begova Džamija) in Sarajevo dominates the central field, featuring its prominent minaret, clock tower, and multiple domed rooftops rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished background.
