Obverse description Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait style characteristic of early Augustan provincial coinage. The effigy displays the emperor's distinctive features with a slightly elongated neck, the portrait occupying the central field of the flan. The field is otherwise plain, with no encircling legend. The flan shows the irregular edges typical of hammered provincial bronze issues of this period.

Reverse description Tyche of Damascus seated left upon a rocky outcrop, her right arm extended forward in a gesture of benediction or offering, while her left hand cradles a cornucopia symbolizing civic abundance. The figural type is enclosed within a laurel wreath border. To the left of the figure appears a retrograde Greek date in the Pompeian-Seleucid era reckoning. The composition follows the standard iconographic formula for civic Tyche types on Syrian provincial bronzes of the Augustan period.
