| Description du revers | The entire reverse field is occupied by a ten-line Latin memorial inscription in bold capital letters, commemorating the death of Bishop Ulrich. A decorative ornamental device with a cross motif appears at the top of the field above the text. The inscription records his birth on 12 August 1589 and his death on 31 October 1622, and identifies this piece as a publicly issued funeral memorial coin. The lettering is executed in a monumental style filling the field to the inner beaded border, with punctuation marks and abbreviation stops separating the words throughout. |
