Reverse description The denomination and date are prominently displayed in three bold lines across the center of the field: 2½ above SILBER GROSCHEN, followed by the date 1848. The circular legend, divided at the top and bottom, reads 12 EINEN THALER at the upper periphery and SCHEIDE MÜNZE at the lower periphery, indicating the coin's status as a subsidiary currency valued at one-twelfth of a Thaler. The entire design is framed by a fine denticled border.
