Reverse description Central device comprising an oval cartouche depicting the domed shrine of the Hazrat Ali mosque (Blue Mosque) of Mazar-i-Sharif, set within a rayed, star-shaped glory of radiating lines. This central medallion is framed by a wreath of oak branches tied at the base with a decorative ribbon bow. The Arabic denomination legend 'دو نيم روپيه' (Two and a Half Rupees) is inscribed in a curved band across the upper portion of the field, above the wreath.
