Reverse description A finely engraved caracal (Caracal caracal), also known as the desert lynx or Persian lynx, is depicted in a crouching, alert stance facing right, with its characteristic tufted ears prominently rendered. The animal is shown in a naturalistic rocky desert setting, with small stones and sparse vegetation visible beneath its forepaws and in the lower field. The denomination legend in Arabic script curves across the upper left of the field. The reverse is enclosed by a toothed inner border matching the obverse.
