Descrizione del dritto	Central field dominated by the toughra of the Khalifa Abdullah ibn Muhammad, rendered in flowing Arabic calligraphy within a lobed cartouche formed by crescent-shaped ornamental borders. The inscription 'umla jadida' (new currency) appears alongside the denomination value below the toughra. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded outer border, with crescent motifs punctuating the inner decorative frame. The composition is characteristic of late Mahdist-era Sudanese coinage, combining Ottoman calligraphic tradition with local stylistic elements.
