The 1972 Royal Silver Wedding commemorative program was one of the most coordinated multi-issuer efforts in British Commonwealth numismatic history, with Jersey, Guernsey, and several other dependencies each producing distinct pieces for the occasion. Jersey's issue was struck by the Royal Mint, which handled the bulk of Commonwealth anniversary coinage during this period.
