Obverse description Crowned oval escutcheon bearing the quartered arms of Groesbeeck, set within an ornate Renaissance cartouche with scrollwork supporters, all contained within a beaded inner circle. The heraldic shield is surmounted by a bishop's crown or mitre-like ornament. A Latin legend encircles the periphery, separated from the inner field by the beaded border.
