| Obverse description | Central field enclosed within a raised inner circle bears the Devanagari inscription denoting the denomination 'Kori Adhi' (2½ Kori) and the mint name 'Zarb Kutch Bhuj' along with the Vikram Samvat date 1931, surmounted by a sun and crescent symbol. A broad outer band carries a continuous Devanagari legend in relief reading the full titles of Maharawal Pragmalji II, Maharao of Kutch, separated from the inner circle by a beaded border. The rim is defined by a plain raised border with fine dotted inner dentilation. |

The broad outer annulus is filled with elaborate flowing arabesque and foliate scrollwork in relief, characteristic of the Bhuj Mint's decorative style.
