Obverse description Central circle encloses the denomination and mint legends in Devanagari script, with the denomination '2 1/2 Kori' at top, followed by 'Zarb Kutch Bhuj' (struck at Kutch Bhuj) and the Vikram Samvat date below. Surrounding the central circle, an elaborate decorative border of stylised paisley and foliate motifs fills the field, enclosed within a beaded inner border. The Rao's full title in Devanagari, reading 'Maharaja Dhiraj Mirza Maharau Shree Khengarji Sawai Bahadur', appears in the outer legend surrounding the decorative band.
