Obverse description Dark green intaglio print on white paper with a guilloche underprint framework. A portrait vignette of young Queen Wilhelmina occupies the center, flanked by denomination numerals and ornamental borders. Various registration dates between 4 August 1919 and 28 February 1920 appear on the face.
Obverse lettering NEDERLANDSCH-INDIE MUNTBILJET Wordt in betaling hangenomen door De Javasche Bank en aan alle landskassen inwisselbaar in zilver na aankondiging. Geregistreerd: Batavia, 4 Augustus 1919. TWEE EN EEN HALVE GULDEN WETTIG BETAALMIDDEL AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY.
