Reverse description Dark olive-green intaglio print on white paper. The central vignette presents the full Netherlands crowned royal arms supported by two rampant lions, with the motto JE MAINTIENDRAI on a ribbon below; denomination numerals 2½ appear in guilloche ovals at left and right, repeated in the four corners, all within an elaborate engraved border.
Reverse lettering NEDERLANDSCH-INDIE TWEE EN EEN HALVE GULDEN AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY.
