| Obverse description | Left-facing draped bust of Queen Wilhelmina occupying the majority of the field, her hair elaborately styled in a raised chignon with fine wavy strands rendered in high relief. The portrait is uncrowned and presented in a classical, realistic manner consistent with early 20th-century Dutch coinage engraving. The circular legend reads WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN, running along the full periphery, with a beaded border encircling the design. A small engraver's mark appears at the base of the neck truncation. |
