Obverse description Blue on light green underprint. The Coat of Arms of Suriname appears at left, with a vignette of a native girl wearing a traditional kotomisi head scarf at right. The face carries stamped dates and printed signatures, with a red overprint reading '2 1/2' applied to this half of a bisected P#85 five-gulden note.

Reverse description Geometric guilloche design in the underprint with the numeral 5 repeated at left and right. The serial number appears in black ink without letter prefixes, and a red stamped overprint of '2 1/2' is applied, consistent with the provisional bisect issue.
