背面描述 The reverse, struck in gold-toned bimetallic centre, depicts a judo athlete in dynamic throwing action, rendered in bold relief against a geometric latticed background evoking the faceted glass facade of a modern architectural structure. To the upper left, the Olympic rings are displayed beneath a circular emblem incorporating the Portuguese quinas shield. The arc legend 'JOGOS OLÍMPICOS DE LONDRES' curves along the upper left periphery, identifying the London Olympic Games. The composition effectively contrasts the athletic figure against the angular, modernity-inspired field design in a stylised Art Deco-influenced manner.

附加信息

Portugal launched this bimetallic denomination specifically for the London 2012 Olympic Games, part of a broader INCM collector program that used the 2½ Euro face value almost exclusively for thematic issues rather than general circulation. The pairing of .999 gold with a .925 silver ring in a coin under 30mm required precision lamination that the Casa da Moeda had been refining since its earlier bimetallic programs of the 1990s.

At 3.1 grams of fine gold, the centre contains just enough metal to qualify the piece as a genuine gold-bearing coin rather than a plated novelty — a distinction INCM was careful to maintain across the foil series.
